Sarah utilizes the Gottman Method while working with couples. The first few sessions will be heavily focused on assessing your relationship's strengths and vulnerabilities. From there, you'll learn how to work through deep hurts and resolve everyday challenges. You'll work on supporting each others' goals and dreams while feeling valued and heard in your relationship. You'll learn how to communicate in a way that results in greater understanding, friendship, and overall relationship satisfaction.
Reasons to start couples therapy might include lack of connection/intimacy, conflicting parenting styles, past problems that continue to resurface, poor communication patterns, affairs, and needing to "re-set". The session rate for 50 minutes of couples counseling is $160. We are offering virtual/online and phone counseling sessions.
